1. Less serious causes of palpitation are anxiety, strong emotions and intake of coffee and certain drugs.
2. More serious causes of palpitation include heart rhythm abnormalities, such as Atrial Fibrillation and Supra-ventricular tachycardia.
3. Symptoms of light-headedness and chest pains may be present. Go to a hospital and Emergency room immediately. These conditions can be TREATED by your heart doctor.
