Four killed after huge blast destroys Chinese chemical factory

Four people were killed and six injured after a huge blast destroyed a chemical factory in southern China.

The video shot in the city of Yulin on Tuesday (October 15), shows a large cloud of smoke billowing into the sky and a woman can be heard saying: "It is so scary!"

Further aftermath footage shows the buildings that were left wrecked by the blast.

According to local reports, a reactor container with 5-tons of formaldehyde and phenol mixture exploded.

Eight fire engines and 38 firemen were sent on-site to rescue any survivors. Four people were killed, two suffered serious injuries and four had minor injuries.

The case is being investigated and the property loss is being counted.
