Bakersfield family gets police escort through Saddleridge Fire to get child to hospital for surgery

For one Bakersfield family, the Saddleridge Fire outside of Los Angeles posed a threat much closer to home. Their young son needed surgery at an LA hospital and with traffic backed up getting there was a concern.
