The cult favorite will return
to over 10,000 locations
starting October 7. As usual, the barbecue
pork sandwich will only
be around for a limited time. The McRib was first introduced in
1981 and was only successful enough
to bring it back occasionally. Alexander Chernev, a marketing professor
at Northwestern University, considers seasonal
menus to be an “important marketing tool
