Ari Lennox has been at this for a while, now. Most discovered her a few years ago, when she became the first woman to sign to J. Cole's Dreamville Records, and released her critically-acclaimed EP, Pho. But her voice — rich, syrupy, soulful, distinct — has mesmerized fans since her 2013 independent debut with Five Finger Discount and follow-up EP, Ariology. Fast forward, and we just can't seem to stop singing her songs. For our latest episode of #SongAssociation, Lennox sang #SheaButterBaby favs like "Speak to Me" and "New Apartment," referenced Erykah Badu's "Green Eyes," and, obviously, left us wanting more.
