The SM group is suing government for not honoring its 2009 deal on the common station connecting MRT-3 with LRT-1. The deal was to have it located in front of SM North. The DOTC though wants it in front of Ayala's Trinoma, and even included it as part of the LRT-1 extension project, the lone bidder of which was an Ayala consortium with Metro Pacific.
