00:00 [Music] 00:09 one of the questions that service 00:12 technicians get a giggle out of is where 00:14 is my filter located so we get this 00:17 question from time to time and that's 00:19 usually when we figure out that you're 00:21 not a person that's done maintenance on 00:23 their equipment and you're looking to 00:25 strike a get on the horse of doing 00:26 maintenance and making sure the system 00:28 lasts a lot longer for you 00:29 so filters are usually located in one of 00:32 two places either in the return grill 00:36 that is the larger grill in the house 00:38 where air is always pulling into there's 00:40 sometimes a filter in there or the 00:42 filter is going to be located right near 00:44 the furnace in a filter base or a 00:46 cabinet or some kind of filter box and 00:49 usually there's some screws or some wing 00:50 nuts that you can get off and remove a 00:53 panel and get inside to you know a 00:55 one-inch filter all the way up to a 00:56 4-inch filter again only really two 01:00 places you can find them unless it's 01:02 some kind of strange specialty install 01:04 but you can go look the return grill or 01:06 near your furnace and again they should 01:08 be replaced every sixty to ninety days 01:11 [Music]
