Purandhareshwari asserted that the state of Andhra Pradesh was not given special status. Former Union Minister of State for Women and Morcha National Leader Daggubati Purandhareshwari said that CM Jagan should not make Chandrababu's mistake in this regard. While Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has made it clear that the state of Andhra Pradesh is not given special status, CM Jagan has repeatedly asking about the special status , that it is not the right approach. She said 90 per cent of the provisions of the Partition Act were implemented by the Center.
