How to Create Password Protected ZIP File using 7-Zip in Windows 10?

Step 1: First Download and install the 7-zip software. Go to https://www.7-zip.org, and download the setup file.

Step 2: Double click on setup file, and then follow the instructions to install it.

Step 3: Go to the folder or file that you want to password protect it. Right click on it, click on 7-zip, and then click on 'Add to Archive.'

Step 4: In Archive format, select 'zip.' Give the name, and then select the place where you want to save the file.

Step 5: In bottom, Encryption Method, select 'AES-256.'

Step 6: Enter the password that you want, reenter it again. After that, click on 'ok' button.
