From the South: A victory for indigenous peoples, the ancestors and future generations! The Waorani people have won a appeal against Ecuador's government, thereby protecting half -a-million acres of their territory in the Amazon rainforest from oil drilling. Meanwhile, protests are planned for outside the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City, against President Donald Trump's treatment of migrants.
