The American Red Cross of Kern County is hosting a Be Red Cross Ready presentation focused on disaster preparedness. The presentation will be held at the Valley Baptist Church Fellowship Hall on Fruitvale Avenue this weekend. It runs from 10 a.m. until noon this Saturday.
