FORTBYTE 28 Accessible By Solving The Pattern Match Puzzle Outside A Desert Junkyard

Fortnite is mixing it up today for Fortbyte #28, which is accessible by solving the pattern match puzzle outside a desert junkyard. This is more involved than just finding something in a specific spot or wearing a specific skin, and this may prove to be one of the tougher Fortbytes to get for many people, depending on how your games go.

The pattern match puzzle is located at the back end of a junkyard just south of Paradise Palms.

Once you arrive, you will see a row of colored squares, a scoreboard and a lever. The game is that you pull the lever and the square will light up in order. You shoot them to match it, and it will get faster and increasingly difficult over time. Beat it, and you get your Fortbyte which appears in front of the scoreboard.
You can play this with just your pickaxe if you want, but that makes it a lot harder, so I would definitely get a gun before you try this. I would also absolutely recommend doing this in a team-based game where you are surrounded by friendlies because doing this is solos or squads is going to be a recipe for death. You’re not going to be able to just run in and run out like you can with other Fortbytes, which makes this a lot more challenging than most, even if the memory game itself is not all that difficult.

This should not be as hard as the pressure plate puzzle because at least it doesn’t require other people to be around to help you.

Good luck m8s
