Mouri and the others shared a ride back to Tokyo with a wealthy family Hatamoto. Everyone has gathered at dining hall for dinner, but the eldest member of the family, Hatamoto Gouzou has yet to come there. Suzuki, the chief maid of the family came to Gouzou's room to get his master. The moment he opened the door, he screamed and fell down the floor. Everyone ran over to the room having hear the scream, just to see Gouzou's dead body in there.
