Jess Phillips MP left her 10-year-old son Danny on the step of 10 Downing Street as part of a protest against schools being forced to close early. Hundreds of parents, teachers and children are protesting in London over the number of schools being forced to close early due to 'funding cuts'. The Labour MP for Birmingham Yardley left her son outside Downing Street to represent the government's responsibility to care for and educate the nation's children. Report by Jonesia.
