Joan Bennett is possibly best known for her role on Dark Shadows which was an afternoon soap opera from 1966 to 1971. Her biography is privileged. She made one movie after another from 1928 to 1951. She slowed afterwards, making only 7 movies from 1954 to 1977. Highway Dragnet was made in 1954 and is one of her better movies. She early only wanted to get into television programming.
