Η ταινία εξιστορεί την αληθινή ιστορία δύο ντετέκτιβ, που προσπαθούν να εξιχνιάσουν μια σειρά δολοφονιών, κατά τη διάρκεια 6 χρόνων. Από το 1968 έως το 1991 σε μια μικρή πόλη έξω από τη Σεούλ, 10 γυναίκες βιάζονται και δολοφονούνται άγρια σε μια ακτίνα 2 χιλιομέτρων. The screenplay was adapted by Bong and Shim Sung-bo from Kim Kwang-rim's 1996 stage play about the same subject.
