ఎన్నికల ప్రచారంలో భాగంగా చౌకీదార్ చోర్ వ్యాఖ్యలు చేసిన కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ రాహుల్ గాంధీ ఎట్టకేలకూ మెట్టు దిగొచ్చారు. రాఫెల్ కేసు విషయంలో సర్వోన్నత న్యాయస్థానం వ్యాఖ్యల్ని వక్రీకరించినందుకు సుప్రీంకోర్టుకు క్షమాపణలు చెప్పారు. ఈ మేరకు ఆయన అఫిడవిట్ దాఖలు చేశారు. తనపై దాఖలైన కోర్టు ధిక్కార పిటీషన్‌ను కొట్టివేయాలని విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు.
