217 million users around the globe. Next closest to Spotify in terms of paid global subscribers is Apple Music, who has 50 million. Money losses for Spotify also have continued to mount. For the first quarter of 2019, the streamer
recorded a decrease of just over $158 million. In 2018's first quarter,
it was $189 million.
