2020 presidential candidate Amy Klobuchar revealed that she is the only senator who will not support the Medicare bill, because she does not want to 'dismantle' the Affordable Care Act which was 'very difficult' to put in place. Instead she said she wants to go after pharmaceutical companies to ensure they "bring down premium prices."
