I will show you my discovery on pokémon platinum (might also work with diamond/pearl haven't tested it)
all you have to do is:
1. go to pokemon league
2. enter the first room with the elevator
3. (use walk through walls code)
4. walk right next to the door on the left
5. keep walking up until your character stops, a dialogue will start
6. the Hall of Fame!
Well done you've beaten the League without fighting!
