Ratings for the Super Bowl Hit Lowest Mark In a Decade The game was watched by 98.2 million viewers and drew a 44.9 rating. It aired on CBS and was won by the Patriots 13-3. It's also a 5% drop from last year's viewership numbers for the Super Bowl between
the Patriots and Eagles. Not surprisingly, this year's Super Bowl ratings reached its lowest ever in the city of New Orleans. Most likely due to Saints fans being bitter at the NFL over a crucial blown call in the NFC Championship.
