जिले में 15 वर्ष तक के बच्चों को मीजल्स (खसरा)-रुबेला का टीका लगाने के लिए बड़े अभियान की शुरुआत हुई । शहर और ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के सभी स्कूलों में बच्चों को एमएमआर का टीका लगाया जाएगा। यह नि:शुल्क होगा एवं बच्चों को कई बीमारियों से बचाएगा। स्वास्थ्य विभाग के जिम्मेदारों और चिकित्सकों ने टीकाकरण को सुरक्षित होने का दावा किया है। गम्भीर बीमारी के संक्रमण से बच्चों और अगली पीढ़ी को सुरक्षित रखने के लिए टीका जरूर लगवाने की सलाह दी है।
