일본 "강제징용 협의, 30일 내 답변하라" 일방적 요구

Japan has reportedly asked South Korea to answer its request for talks on Seoul's forced labor ruling within a month.
Last Wednesday, Tokyo requested such a meeting under the 1965 bilateral agreement, that normalized ties between the two countries,... following a Seoul court ruling last year... for a Japanese firm to compensate South Koreans for the wartime atrocity.
Today, a senior official at the nation's foreign ministry confirmed Tokyo asked for a reply within 30 days.
Seoul said it will closely review the request,... even considering the option of adding other agenda to the talks, including sexual enslavement of Korean women during world war two.
The timeframe is seen as a move by Japan to take the case to the next stage-- the International Court of Justice.
