Japan asks S. Korea to comply with international law on forced ruling issue

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has called on South Korea to comply with international law... regarding the issue of war-time forced labor.
At the 200th provisional session of the Diet,... he mentioned South Korea at the very end of his speech,... which may indicate that Seoul-Tokyo relations are falling out of favor with Abe.
On the same day, Japanese Foreign Minister Motegi, in an interview with local media, hinted at possible retaliations... if a South Korean court liquidates the assets of Japanese firms to compensate forced laborers.
Currently, the victims are going through a legal process to auction off patent rights and corporate stakes the firms hold in South Korea.
