President Donald Trump invited Democrats and Republicans to the White House. According to Reuters, he wanted to brief the leaders in Congress on border security. This comes after the U.S. government fell under a partial government shutdown. The shutdown was incited by Trump’s demands to fund $5 billion border wall. White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said that Nancy Pelosi’s plan is a “non-starter,” not funding everything necessary.
