Touching moment wild monkey grooms tiny kitten

This is the adorable moment a wild monkey was seen taking care of a tiny kitten.

The primate lifted up the kitten while running along a narrow ledge before laying it down to start grooming it.

He began carefully picking out the lice from the cat's fur - as another moggy looked on curiously.

The touching scene of animal bonding was seen on a wall outside a home in Kuala Kangsar, Malaysia, on October 25.

Onlooker Romy Shah joked: ''This is kidnapping! Cat owners, be careful of monkeys!''

Romy said he watched the pair for several minutes before the monkey carried the kitten away. The cat then jumped down to its friend.

He said: ''It was very cute. The monkey looked like he was very attached to the kitten.''
