Bette Midler Is Joining the 'Hocus Pocus' Reunion Special The television channel Freeform announced its 'Hocus Pocus' 25th anniversary special last month, and many fans were left wondering if Midler would join in on the festivities. Midler, who had been teasing the big reveal all month, took to Twitter on Oct. 18 to confirm that she would be taking part. A Freeform YouTube video showed Midler asking, "Wait, wait a minute. What's a Sanderson sister celebration without Winifred?" Midler will join fellow stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy and Thora Birch. The special airs Oct. 20 as part of Freeform's '31 Nights of Halloween.'
