Hurricane Michael Continues To Gain Strength

Reuters is reporting that Hurricane Michael has strengthened to a Category 2 storm as it makes it's way to the Florida Panhandle. Florida authorities have told tens of thousands of residents to evacuate the coastal areas of at least 20 counties. The storm has moved over the Gulf of Mexico and is carrying sustained winds of 100 miles per hour. The National Hurricane Center is predicting Michael may become a Category 3 storm before it makes landfall on Wednesday.
