00:00And now, stand by for adventure, three, two, one, in the exciting story of Nightmare.
00:27There was great excitement on Zero Zero Island.
00:36Colonel Bleep had spent all morning hard at work in his laboratory workshop.
00:41Now, at last, Squeak and Scratch were in for a great surprise.
00:51For Bleep had built two gleaming new space scooters.
00:56There was one for Squeak and one for Scratch.
01:01Yes, the Puppet and Caveman were soon to be full-fledged flying cadets in Colonel Bleep's space scooter squadron.
01:10But first, Bleep explained it takes far more than a fine scooter to make a good flying cadet.
01:20For unless a pilot knows the rules of safe flying, he is only a menace in the skyways.
01:31And so, Squeak and Scratch were instructed to memorize Bleep's scooter squadron flying rules as the first step to becoming cadets.
01:41Good old Scratch began studying at once, for he was determined to be a very good cadet, a credit to his squadron.
01:49But little Squeak foolishly spent his time making a flashy uniform with gleaming buttons, glittering medals, and colorful symbols.
02:02For Squeak wasn't satisfied to just be a good cadet, he was going to be the greatest flyer of them all, the Ace of Space.
02:18That night, the Caveman dreamed happily of his future as a space cadet.
02:24But the Puppet had already tossed aside his scooter and replaced it with a supercharged, triple-stage, high-compression, futomic-powered cruiser.
02:44And off he goes!
02:47What speed!
02:51What power!
02:55What skill!
02:57But wait!
02:59Look out! There's a stop sign!
03:04That's no way to fly!
03:13Ace, be careful!
03:16That's a one-way space lane!
03:23This is terrible! Someone stop him!
03:26He's buzzing the space station!
03:35That did it! Ace is really in trouble now!
03:38The entire space patrol is after him!
03:41Stop, Squeak! Stop before it's too late!
03:47His ship is gone!
03:52He's down! The Ace of Space is finished!
04:02The prisoner is charged with reckless flying without a license.
04:09What is your verdict?
04:11Guilty! Guilty! Guilty!
04:20Twenty years in the prison tower!
04:24Poor Squeak! He's fainted!
04:27Get up, prisoner! Get up!
04:31Get up!
04:33Get up!
04:35Get up, little Squeak!
04:37Squeak, it's morning.
04:40This is the day for your first flying lesson.
04:44Now the puppet sits up and blinks and shakes his head in wonder.
04:51For thank goodness, it has all been just a terrible dream.
04:57But even a dream can sometimes teach a valuable lesson.
05:03Now Squeak knows that it takes lots of hard work and study to accomplish anything worthwhile in life.
05:11And especially to become a full-fledged flying cadet in Colonel Bleep's Space Scooter Squadron.
05:33Thank you for watching!
