Nelly Mutually Settles With Woman Who Accused Him of Rape A lawyer for a Seattle-area woman who accused the rapper of raping her last year says the two parties have reached a settlement. The woman, Monique Greene, claimed she was at a club in Seattle where Nelly had performed and was invited onto his tour bus. Greene claims Nelly then sexually assaulted her against her will. Green adds he also taunted her while throwing a $100 bill in her direction. She later sued Nelly for
sexual assault and defamation. Nelly was soon arrested on suspicion of
second-degree rape. He then countersued Greene, claiming the sex was consensual and she
defamed him.
