Bill Cosby’s Bail Is Immediately Revoked Following Sexual Assault Conviction
  • 6 years ago
Things spiraled very quickly for Bill Cosby on Tuesday following his two-day sexual assault trial, for which he was accused of drugging and assaulting Andrea Costand, a former basketball administrator at Temple University.
He was finally sentenced to 3-10 years in “total confinement” and will be registered a “sexually violent predator.” On top of that, after a brief deliberation, Bill was immediately remanded by police in handcuffs and escorted—without bail—to the same jail in which Jerry Sandusky has been residing. The retired college football coach was convicted of rape and child sexual abuse in 2012.
Despite his predicament, Bill’s spokesperson said, “Mr. Cosby is doing great. Mr. Cosby knows that God is watching over him. He knows that these are lies. They persecuted Jesus and looked what happened. Not saying Mr. Cosby is Jesus. But we know what this country has done to black men for centuries. So Mr. Cosby is doing fine. He is holding up well. And everybody who wants to say anything negative, you’re a joke as well.”
What do you think about Bill’s bail being immediately revoked? Sound off in the comments!
