family members in Bungoma perish after a wild mushroom meal

In Bungoma county four people, including a woman, her child and  two other individuals, one believed to be a Ugandan citizen have died after consuming wild mushrooms.
The woman is said to have collected mushrooms from her farm and prepared a meal for her family and guests, not knowing that what she had harvested from her garden were poisonous mushrooms
Residents have now been urged to exercise caution whenever they pick the local delicacy, to avoid a repeat incident.
