Sources Say Turkey Arrests German Citizen Accused Of 'Terrorist Propaganda'

On Thursday, a German foreign ministry source that Turkish police arrested a German citizen, while public broadcaster ARD reported that the man was accused of 'terrorist propaganda' after criticizing the Turkish government on social media. According to Reuters, the foreign ministry source said, “We’re aware of the case. The embassy in Ankara will initiate consular assistance." In the past months, Turkey has reportedly arrested several German and US citizens triggering a diplomatic crisis with both of its NATO allies.
