Seoul to spend US$3 mil. to run joint liaison office with N. Korea
  • 6 years ago
South Korea is going to cover the cost of running the inter-Korean joint liaison office.
Some three million U.S. dollars will come from the nation's Inter-Korean Cooperation Fund.
Renovations have been underway at the Kaesong Industrial Complex since early July... with hopes of opening the joint liaison office within this month.
Once operational, it should enable person-to-person contact between officials from across the border.
