Seoul will cover the cost for the reunions for war-torn families and the establishment of a joint liaison office using the government's Inter-Korean Cooperation Fund.
The total cost is estimated at 3 million U.S. dollars.
Most of that, about 2-point-9 million will be spent on running the reunion and renovating the venue for the event: North Korea's Mount Kumgang complex.
Work on the liaison office at the Kaesong Industrial Complex is expected to cost 76-thousand U.S. dollars.
