Police in Portland used flash bangs to disperse counter-protesters at the Gibson for Senate Freedom March, a Patriot Prayer event on August 4, local reports said.Police said those with the appropriate licenses would be allowed to carry handguns but that rifles or other “long-guns” were prohibited.Joey Gibson, the founder of Patriot Prayer who is planning a run for US Senate, said via Facebook Live on July 30 that there had been guns at every Patriot Prayer rally but they would only be used in self-defense.In this footage, protesters with banners and signs are seen dispersing.
