Zimbabwe Death Toll From Election Clashes Rises To 6

Zimbabwe police said Thursday that the death toll after clashes between soldiers, police and opposition party supporters had doubled to six. Three people died from their injuries Thursday. Supporters of the Movement for Democratic Change marched on the streets of Harare, Zimbabwe, on Wednesday. A police spokeswoman said the situation in the capital remained tense and that the army’s assistance was still needed to ensure security.
