Midwest & Northeast Hit By Scorching Heat Wave

Over the weekend, central and eastern U.S.were hit with roasting temperatures that felt like the triple digits. The heat wave is expected to linger at least into the July 4th holiday, reports Huffpost. Thermometers are expected to soar 10 to 20 degrees above normal through Monday. Record highs are have been recorded from the Great Lakes region to New England. According to Accuweather, “Temperatures have not reached 100 F in Albany since 1953.”
