French actor Gerard Depardieu and vodka are the subject matters of a chant that may catch your attention during the 2018 World Cup in Russia.In a video posted to the page of official French soccer fan group Irresistibles Francais on May 28, fans can be heard giving the chant a rousing rendition.Sung in rainy conditions during the French national team’s 2-0 victory over Ireland, the song, according to French soccer site SoFoot, runs as follows: “Gerard Deparideu, sors-nous ta vodka, on va la gagner chez toi.”The chant translates as “Gerard Deparideu, take out your vodka, we’ll win it at your place.” French-born Depardieu is now a Russian citizen.
