Hawaiian Volcano Erupts Again, Shows No Sign Of Quieting Down
  • 6 years ago

A series of summit explosions on Saturday from Hawaii’s Kilauea Volcano spewed ash up to 11,000 feet. The three explosions began around 12:42 a.m. local time, and marked the latest bursts of ash and volcanic smog from Kilauea. It's the fourth week of what geologists rank as one of its biggest eruption cycles in a century. According to Reuters, communities to the southwest were dusted with the grey powdered rock.
