Milwaukee Police Tackle Cyclist After He Rummages Through Suspicious Package

Milwaukee police tackled a bicyclist after he stopped and rummaged through a suspicious package officers had been investigating on Monday, May 21. The cyclist was taken into custody by the FBI, a local news report said.The intersection was closed down before 7am when someone reported a backpack on top of a decorated electrical box downtown, a news report said. A bomb technician was seen pulling the package into the middle of the intersection before inspecting it.The bicyclist then rode through the police tape and started pulling out items inside the bag before officers tackled him.
