An Israeli group has launched a special-edition coin featuring President Trump’s face.
An Israeli group has launched two coins featuring President Trump's face next to that of the historical figure King Cyrus who enabled the Jewish people's return to Jerusalem around 2,500 years ago.
The coins are being offered for a $50 donation by the Mikdash Educational Center whose website says that the 70 Years Israel Redemption - Temple Coin was "minted in honor and praise of Israel's 70th Independence Day, and with gratitude that the American Embassy will be transferred to Jerusalem recognizing the centrality of Jerusalem to all 70 nations of the world."
Meanwhile, the site says the Half Shekel- Cyrus Trump Temple Coin was "produced to praise the Jerusalem Declaration of President Donald Trump as a continuation of King Cyrus's Declaration."
ABC News notes that on Monday, the U.S. officially opened its embassy in Jerusalem, in effect, identifying the holy city as Israel's capital.
