Trump: Mueller's Investigation Responsible For 'Much Of The Bad Blood With Russia'

President Trump blamed Robert Mueller's investigation for "much of the bad blood" with Russia.

President Trump on Wednesday blamed U.S.-Russia tensions on Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. election.  "Much of the bad blood with Russia is caused by the Fake & Corrupt Russia Investigation, headed up by the all Democrat loyalists, or people that worked for Obama," Trump said via Twitter. "Mueller is most conflicted of all (except Rosenstein who signed FISA & Comey letter). No Collusion, so they go crazy!"  Prior to that and in the very early hours of the morning, the president tweeted, "Russia vows to shoot down any and all missiles fired at Syria. Get ready Russia, because they will be coming, nice and new and 'smart!' You shouldn't be partners with a Gas Killing Animal who kills his people and enjoys it!"  That tweet was followed by another Twitter post, reading, "Our relationship with Russia is worse now than it has ever been, and that includes the Cold War." "There is no reason for this. Russia needs us to help with their economy, something that would be very easy to do, and we need all nations to work together. Stop the arms race?" the president further said. Over the past days, Trump has been considering possible punitive measures in response to the recent alleged chemical attack on Syrian civilians. It is suspected that the nation's leader Bashar al-Assad was behind the strike.  CNN notes that both Syria and Russia, an ally to Assad, responded to Trump's Wednesday morning tweet about missile strikes.
Syria called Trump's comments, "reckless escalation," while Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, stated, "smart missiles should fly toward terrorists, not the legal government that has been fighting international terrorism for several years on its territory."
