Botox Before & After

Botox! Everyone is curious about this growing trend. Well….here I am sharing my journey with you :) This will be the 3rd time I have gotten botox done and the reason I love it so much is because I can temporarily block muscle movement in the forehead and crows feet area, preventing fine lines and wrinkles from happening. Cool right!? Botox is a topic that not all people agree upon, but hey, its my life and I will do what makes me happy. I am not telling everyone to go out and get botox, I am just simply sharing my experience in hopes that I can help anyone who is on the fence about it. So here we go, lets get some FAQs out of the way…\r

1. Does it hurt? No, I have a high tolerance for pain and the needle is so fine that I barely feel a thing! \r
2. How much does it cost? The price can vary and is usually calculated by units. Please research this guys, dont try to go cheaper especially if the doctor or nurse does not have a lot of experience. \r
3. How long does it last? Botox can last anywhere from 3-6 months depending on the person \r
4. How long does it take to see results? It takes anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks to see results. Botox is not something that works instantly, you need to give it a few days to a few weeks to kick in. It usually takes 5 days for me. \r
5. What are the side effects? There may be bruising at the site of injection, muscle stiffness, headache, sore throat, fever, dizziness, tired feeling, runny nose, and flu like symptoms. \r
6. Have I ever had any side effects? I usually get a headache on the first day or two of injections but then it subsides and I am fine. \r
7. How long does the procedure take? About 15-20 minutes \r
