Trump to Meet with Video Game Publishers to Combat Gun Violence In the wake of the Parkland, Florida shooting, President Trump is holding a panel at the White House on violence in video games. Trump expressed concerns that violence video games contribute to real world violence, a suggest also made by former president Barack Obama, according to CNN. Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick and ZeniMax Media CEO Robert Altman will be in attendance. Zelnick's company has created the popular 'Grand Theft Auto' video-game series while Altman's has brought gamers titles like 'Fallout' and 'Doom.' According to the NPD Group, shooting games made up 27.5 percent of all video games sold in 2017. Mature-rated games made up 11 percent of games rated by the ESRB.
