Elkhart Under State of Emergency as Flood Threat Remains

Elkhart, Indiana, was under a state of emergency on Friday, February 23, a day after the St Joseph River crested at 28.5 feet, just two feet under its 110-year-old record. Rare February rains created the flood conditions, local media reported.This video was shot on Wednesday, February 21, showing the area near downtown Elkhart at the confluence of the St Joseph and Elkhart Rivers.
