Trump’s Tweet About Being ‘Reflective’ On President’s Day Backfires

President Trump urged Americans to reflect in a tweet on Monday.

President Trump acknowledged President's Day with a tweet suggesting people mark the occasion by doing some reflection, and it did not go entirely as likely planned.  "Have a great, but very reflective, President's Day!" he wrote on Monday morning. Many used their moments of quiet contemplation to focus on the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.  Some emerged from the exercise uplifted, leaving comments including, "Thank you President Trump for your great service to our nation on this President's Day!" and, "So glad to wake up on presidents Day, knowing your Our President NOT Hillary !!!"  Others were less enthused.  One person wrote, "You can bet we're all 'Reflecting' this Presidents Day! I'm pretty sure that Special Council Robert Mueller is also 'Reflecting' today." Among the other responses were, "More than anyone, @POTUS needs to reflect about what it means to lead this country without a personal agenda," and, "I'm being 'reflective' about how I wish we had a president who stood up to Russia."
