In a now-deleted tweet, Rotten Tomatoes accidentally killed off the very much alive and legendary filmmaker John Carpenter. The twee twas honoring Carpenter’s 70th birthday, and Rotten Tomatoes wrote, “John Carpenter would have been 70 years old today! We celebrate his birthday by looking back at his five favorite films.
