Mississippi May Become First State With Two Official Flags To End Dispute

According to a report by the Wall Street Journal, a Mississippi lawmaker is proposing the state adopt a second flag design in the hopes of finally bringing an end to one of the state's most divisive issues. Earlier this month, Republican Rep. Greg Snowden filed a bill that, if passed, would make Mississippi the only US state with two flags.
