Police in Michigan warned people to stay off the ice on Lake Erie on Sunday, January 14, just days after an ATV driver went missing in the area. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office shared video of the ice, saying the ice was thin and breaking up.Rescuers spent several days last week searching for the ATV driver who they believed fell through the ice about 1,000 feet offshore after he went missing late on Wednesday, a news report said.
